South Texas College of Law Houston will host the 2023 ABA Arbitration Competition Nov. 10-11. At least 16 schools are competing in this prestigious event to be hosted in person at the law school. Forty additional lawyers are needed to volunteer as judges.
Judges are eligible to receive CLE credit. If you would like to volunteer approximately three hours, please click here. Dates and times for the rounds still needing judges can be found below.
Preliminary Round 1: Friday, Nov. 10 (8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m.)
Preliminary Round 2: Friday, Nov. 10 (1:30 p.m.-4:45 p.m.)
Semi-final: Saturday, Nov. 11 (8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m.)
Schools signed up to compete, to date, are American University, Washington College of Law, Chapman University School of Law, Michigan State University College of Law, Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, South Texas College of Law Houston, Southern Illinois University School of Law, Stetson University College of Law, University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, and Villanova University School of Law.
